๐Ÿ”‘ Your first login and the user portal

BolloPrint has two distinct web areas that are worth understanding from the start:

AreaURLWhat it's for
User portalbolloprint.comYour personal account: profile, subscription, list of workshops.
Workshop[your-workshop].eu.bolloprint.comThe day-to-day: orders, production, catalog, finances.

When someone invites you to a workshop team, the invitation link takes you directly to the workshop's subdomain โ€” you can skip the portal if you don't need it.

Step 1 โ€” Sign in at bolloprint.com

Go to bolloprint.com and click "Sign in".

You have two options:

  • Email and password: enter the email and password you registered with.
  • Continue with Google: sign in with your Google account in a single click.

If you've forgotten your password, click "I forgot my password" โ€” you'll receive an email to reset it.

After signing in you return to bolloprint.com, already logged in. In the top-right corner you'll find your profile menu, where you open your workshops and enter the user portal ("My account").

Step 2 โ€” The user portal (/myaccount)

Open your profile menu (top right) and click "My account" to enter the user portal. From here you manage everything that's yours as an individual, regardless of which workshops you belong to.

The page is split into two blocks: Your account (what's yours as an individual) and Your workshops (each workshop with its plan and its subscription).

๐Ÿ™‹ Your account

At the top you see your photo, your name, your email and how you sign in (password, Google or both). Click "Edit profile" to change:

  • Profile photo: click "Change photo" or "Remove" (JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF, max. 2 MB). It's the same photo that appears in your workshop menu.
  • First name and last name.
  • Phone: optional.
  • Email: read-only. It's your account identifier and can't be changed.
  • Email updates: tick the box if you want to receive news, tips and offers. Your account's essential emails (security, invoices, notices) always reach you.

Click "Save changes" when you're done.

๐Ÿ”’ Security

Here you manage your password. What you see depends on how you sign in:

If you sign in with Google only: you'll see the "Create password" button. Clicking it sends you an email with a link to create a password so you can also sign in without Google.

If you already have a password: click "Change password" and enter:

  1. Your current password.
  2. The new password (minimum 8 characters).
  3. Repeat the new password to confirm.

If you can't remember the current one, click "Prefer to receive a recovery email?" and we'll send you an email to set a new one.

Deactivating your account

At the end of the Your account block is the "Deactivate my account" button (see below).

๐Ÿญ Your workshops

One row for each workshop you belong to. On each row you see:

  • The workshop's name and your role in it (owner, admin, workerโ€ฆ).
  • The plan (and whether it's monthly or annual), the subscription's status and the date it renews or ends.
  • If you're not the owner, who the owner is, in case you need to let them know about something.
  • The "Open" button, which opens the workshop at its address (https://[slug].eu.bolloprint.com) in a new tab.

If you're the owner, the row also has the subscription buttons. Which ones appear depends on its status:

ButtonWhen it appearsWhat it does
Change planYou have an active subscription.Opens the plan picker to move to another plan or switch between monthly and annual.
Manage subscriptionYou have an active subscription.Opens the Polar billing portal in another tab: update your card, download invoices or cancel.
Reactivate subscriptionYou cancelled the subscription but the period hasn't ended yet.Undoes the cancellation.
Create subscriptionThe workshop has a paid plan but no subscription running.Opens the plan picker.
Upgrade planThe workshop is on the free plan.Opens the plan picker.

The plan picker opened by Change plan and Upgrade plan also includes Business, with the price "Custom". You can't sign up for Business from there: when you pick it, the button becomes "Request a proposal" and we email you to define the plan, limits and price. Your current plan doesn't change and nothing is charged until you accept the proposal (more detail in "Subscription and billing").

If there's a pending payment, the row shows a warning in red.

If you don't belong to any workshop yet, you'll see the "Create workshop" button. If you already have one, above the list is the "Create new workshop" button to open another one (see below).

Step 3 โ€” Access your workshop

Once in the portal, click "Open" next to the workshop you want to enter. The workshop application will open in a new tab.

If someone has sent you an invitation link, that link takes you directly to the workshop without having to go through the portal. You'll only need to set your password the first time.

The invitation link expires in 7 days. If that time has already passed, ask the workshop's Owner or Admin to resend it from Settings โ†’ Workshop โ†’ Users.

Step 4 โ€” The first time: the initial setup assistant

If you are the owner of the workshop and this is your first sign-in, instead of the dashboard you will see a full-screen initial setup assistant: nine steps (language and currency, deadlines and margin, material cost, farm expenses, brand, team, and where printers are connected and the accounts are kept) that leave the workshop ready in about fifteen minutes. Every step can be skipped and everything can be changed later in Settings. Until you finish it, the rest of your team will see a waiting screen. It is explained step by step in "Initial setup".

Create a new workshop

If you want to create your own workshop, go to bolloprint.com, choose a plan on the pricing page and follow the "Create your workshop" wizard. It has three steps:

  1. Your account: first name, last name, email and password (or sign in with Google).
  2. Your workshop: workshop name, subdomain ([your-slug].eu.bolloprint.com) and country. The system checks in real time whether the subdomain is available.
  3. Plan and summary: you choose monthly or annual billing (except for Business, which has none), review the summary and accept the terms.

Before creating the workshop we may ask you to confirm your email: in that case we send you a 6-digit code. Enter it to verify your address and continue (if it doesn't arrive, check your spam or click "Resend code").

How does sign-up finish? It depends on the plan:

  • Hobby (free): no card is required. Click "Create free workshop" and you're done.
  • Paid plans: click "Add card and start". Your 30-day free trial starts: the card is requested now, but you're not charged anything until the 30 days are up, and you can cancel before then from your account.
  • Business (custom): it has no public price. On the pricing page it shows as "Custom", with the "Request a proposal" button and the note "Start on Hobby and we'll get in touch to define your plan". In step 3 you'll see the "How Business works" box: today we create your workshop on the Hobby plan, free and with no card; within 1โ€“2 business days we email you to define your plan, limits and price together; nothing is charged until you accept a proposal, and in the meantime you can use everything Hobby includes. Click "Create workshop and request a proposal". You'll see "Workshop created. We'll email you within 1โ€“2 business days to define your plan." and, a few seconds later, your workshop opens. If instead you see "Workshop created on Hobby, but we couldn't record your proposal request. Write to us from Contact and we'll take it from there.", your workshop already exists: you just need to write to us from Contact.

Once you complete sign-up, you go straight into your new workshop, already signed in.

Create another workshop when you already have an account

Already have an account and want to set up a second (or third) workshop? There's no need to register again. While signed in, click "Create new workshop" โ€” you'll find it on the pricing page and under My account โ†’ Your workshops โ€” and the "Create new workshop" wizard will have only two steps: the workshop's details (name, subdomain, country) and the plan. It already knows your account. If you pick Business, it works the same as when signing up: the new workshop is created on Hobby and we write to you to define its plan.

Each workshop gets its own 30-day free trial on paid plans, the second or third one too: each workshop is a business. What isn't repeated is the trial for the same workshop: if that workshop has already used it, you're charged from today when you subscribe. Each workshop has its own subscription, so you can manage them separately from "My account".

Deactivating your account

If you want to close your account, go to My account and, at the end of the Your account block, click "Deactivate my account". We'll ask you to type your name to confirm.

Before doing so, keep in mind:

  • You must first cancel the subscription for your workshops. If you have an active one, you'll see a warning instead of the button.
  • Deactivating your account means you lose access to the platform and to all your workshops.
  • It's reversible. If you later sign in again with the same account, we'll ask whether you want to reactivate it. If you say yes, you regain access instantly and return to "My account".
